Lineage
Where the method came from, told straight.
Reset did not appear from nowhere and Ola does not pretend it did. It is a direct descendant of EMDR principles, adapted specifically for coaching contexts, emotional and mindset blockages, and self-growth outside clinical scope.
2017
She was the client first.
Ola went through burnout and severe depression in 2017. In a session with a psychologist, something surfaced that she had not connected to anything: a survival anxiety tracing back to growing up in war in Beirut.
He used a method stemming from EMDR. In under an hour, a behaviour she had carried her entire life let go.
She trained immediately, and built her practice from that personal experience of what a genuine neuro-emotional shift feels like from the inside.
What she kept and what she changed
Similar in essence, built for a different room
Why say any of this
Because the alternative is pretending the method is magic.
Plenty of practitioners would leave the lineage vague, because a method with no visible ancestry sounds more proprietary. Ola states it because the credibility of this work rests on being accurate about what it is and where its limits are.
The clinical version belongs in clinical hands. What she built is the coaching version, and the line between them is the thing she is most careful about.
